Your Mission:

As a GNC Engineer (M/W/D) at Jedsy, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing our autonomous flight systems. You will apply your broad skill set for ensuring the efficiency, stability, and accuracy of our autopilot, contributing to crucial projects like precision landing on the ground and our wall landing station.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adapt, and optimize autopilot functionality based on PX4.
  • Work on guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for VTOL drone operations.
  • Advance precision landing technology and support the wall-landing project.
  • Analyze flight logs, identify issues, and debug flight behaviour.
  • Collaborate closely with our software team and flight crew to improve system performance. 

Requirements:

  • Experience with PX4 or other autonomous flight control systems. 

  • Experience with sensor fusion and navigation. 

  • Proficiency in C++ 

  • Good knowledge of guidance and control. 

  • Proactive, structured and independent working style. 

  • Experience with embedded systems and electronics is a plus. 

  • Experience with UAVs or mobile robotics is a plus.
