Jedsy has set a new record by delivering life-saving medical supplies to the most remote corners of Dedza district faster than ever before. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our mission to enhance healthcare access in hard-to-reach areas, setting a new benchmark for the industry.
Jedsy Factory Malawi, located in Lilongwe, boasts a state-of-the-art facility capable of producing one drone per week at full capacity. Our operations extend beyond manufacturing to include maintenance and modifications, ensuring our drones are always mission-ready.
Our team consists of nineteen skilled, passionate, and energetic young men and women dedicated to assembling, repairing, and operating drones for lifesaving missions. Under the leadership of Humphreys Arnold Shumba, we embody the Jedsy slogan, "Delivery where it matters."
Our primary operations involve delivery flights between district hospitals and rural health centers. These centers are often in remote areas where unpaved roads significantly delay motor vehicle deliveries, especially during the rainy season. Jedsy gliders bridge this gap, completing last-mile medical deliveries to many health centers across Malawi.
A notable achievement was our successful delivery from Dedza District Hospital to Lobi Health Centre, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to improving healthcare access. This milestone exemplifies how we are bridging gaps and delivering hope.
As we celebrate this milestone, we recognize that our work is far from over. Many communities still need our services, and Jedsy remains steadfast in our commitment to leaving no one behind.
