Your Mission:

As a Frontend Development Intern at Jedsy, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing intuitive user interfaces for our various platforms, such as Flight Review, Admin Page, Flight Tester, Flight Checker, and Glider Registration Tool. You will work closely with our Backend team to bring ideas to life and ensure our digital tools are as innovative as our drones. This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in web development, contribute creatively, and learn from experienced mentors in a collaborative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain user interfaces using SvelteKit, TailwindCSS, TypeScript, and the Shadcn-Svelte library.
  • Work on our Admin Page, used by customers and drone operators to manage our drone delivery service.
  • Implement new features, fix bugs, and enhance user experience across our digital tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and provide creative input on design elements.
  • Participate actively in regular discussions, feedback sessions, and brainstorming meetings.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Solid understanding of programming concepts and experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, REST APIs).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Familiarity with basic web framework concepts (e.g., reusable components, state management).
  • Willingness to learn and work with Svelte, TailwindCSS, and TypeScript.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but Appreciated):

  • Experience with other web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and backend API development.
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols like OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
